Websites · Custom software
Let’s build your next website, booking system, dashboard or custom tool.
We’re Daled. We design and build websites and custom software. Whether you’re starting something new or improving how things run, we’ll help you work out what you need, then build it.
Services
What we build.
-
Websites
A good website helps people understand what you do and take the next step. We design and build sites that look professional, work well on any screen, and make it easy for people to get in touch, book or sign up.

Custom software
We build software around the way your team works, from the information you manage to the tasks you repeat. It might be a database, a customer portal, or a tool that connects your existing systems. We’ll work out the features with you.

Ideas
What could work better?
A few everyday situations, and what we could build to help.
Service businesses
-
NowQuote requests arrive without the details you need, so each one starts with a round of questions.
Could beA request form that collects the job details and photos before you prepare a quote.
-
NowJobs are handed out in a group chat, and the address is somewhere further up the thread.
Could beA job list that shows each person where they’re going, when, and what the customer asked for.
-
NowA customer’s history is spread across emails, invoices and someone’s memory.
Could beOne page per customer with past jobs, notes and invoices, ready before you call them back.
Schools
-
NowAdmissions files are incomplete, and finding what’s missing means opening every one.
Could beAn admissions tracker that shows each family’s documents and flags what’s still outstanding.
-
NowThe timetable lives in one person’s spreadsheet, and every change goes through them.
Could beA shared timetable staff can check anywhere, with changes made once and seen by everyone.
-
NowA letter goes home to parents, and the rest of the week is spent chasing replies.
Could beParents reply online, and you can see who has answered and who needs a reminder.
Community organizations
-
NowVolunteer shifts get filled through long email threads and last-minute phone calls.
Could beA volunteer schedule with online sign-ups and a reminder before each shift.
-
NowMembership renewals are tracked by hand, and some lapse without anyone noticing.
Could beMembers renew online, and you get a clear list of who’s due and who has lapsed.
-
NowActivity sign-ups come by phone, email and paper, and the lists never quite match.
Could beA registration page for each activity that tracks available spots and opens a waitlist when it fills.
Something else in mind? Tell us about it and we’ll suggest where to start.
Tell us about itHow we work
Good work starts with understanding the job.
We work out what’s needed, agree on a plan, and keep you involved as it takes shape.
-
01 Discuss
Tell us what you have in mind.
We talk through what you want to achieve and who it’s for. If you already have a website, tool, or way of doing things, we’ll look at that too.
-
02 Plan
Agree on a clear plan.
We set out what we’ll build, what’s included, what it will cost, and when you can expect it. You’ll have that in writing before work starts.
-
03 Build
Try it with your team.
You’ll see it working early on and try it with your team, so we can check the details together before launch.
-
04 Launch
Put it to work.
We help you launch and show you how to use and manage it. We’ll explain what support is included and how to arrange further changes.
Time check
Small jobs add up.
Repetitive work takes an hour here and there. Over a year, it adds up to a lot.
For example: chasing replies, copying data between systems, typing up bookings or putting reports together.
480 hours a year
That’s 12 full working weeks, or about $12,000 in staff time.
Each block is one working week of the year
We build software that can take a lot of that off your plate.
Let’s talk about itBased on 48 working weeks a year, 40-hour weeks and $25 an hour.
Questions
Common questions.
Something we didn’t cover? Just ask.
Do we need to know exactly what we want?
No. Tell us what you’re trying to do or what you’d like to improve. We’ll help you work out what’s needed and where to start.
How much does it cost?
It depends on what you need. We’ll send a written proposal outlining the work and its cost, including any ongoing costs, so you can review what’s included before deciding to go ahead.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of the project. The proposal includes a timeline, so you’ll know when to expect each stage and when you can first try it.
We’re not technical. Is that a problem?
Not at all. We’ll explain your options in plain language and show you and your team how to use what we build.
Can you work with the tools we already use?
It depends on the tool. Tell us what you use now, and we’ll check whether we can connect to it, build around it, or suggest something that works better.
Can we add to it later?
Yes. We’ll discuss likely future needs while planning the project. When you’re ready to add something, we’ll work out how it fits with the existing site or system and what’s involved.
Your move
So, what are we building?
Tell us what you’d like to build, improve, or make easier. A few lines are enough to get started. We’ll reply by email with any questions and a suggested next step.
